Riley Hammond
Designer
Before joining FORMM Studio, Riley earned both his M.Arch and B.A. in Architectural Studies with a minor in Digital Humanities from UCLA's Department of Architecture and Urban Design. He graduated with academic distinction and received the 'Best Studio Project (2024)' award for his graduate research on 3-D printed biomimetic facades. His interest in architecture and design began during his time at Santa Barbara City College exploring a practice-based approach to technical draftsmanship, culminating in the award of ‘Student of the Year (2019) in Drafting / CAD / Interior Design’.
Riley began his professional career at RIOS as a designer for their interior architecture studio. His scope of work spanned world-class hospitality design, office TI, new build residences, and custom furniture design.
With his extensive experience across various typologies, Riley has learned that design should permeate at every opportunity it can, regardless of the scale; and, that a multidisciplinary approach to architecture yields the most enriching results.
